Noshchat

A food log you talk to

Tell it what you ate. It keeps the count.

Say two eggs and toast for breakfast the way you would to a friend. Noshchat logs each food with its numbers, at the right meal, and keeps your day against a daily target worked out for you.

What it does

No forms to fill in. Just say it.

The chat is the main page. It works out whether you're telling it what you ate, fixing what's logged, updating your cupboard or asking what to eat, and does that.

Log by chatting

One message can hold several foods, and each becomes its own entry with calories, protein, carbs, fat and fiber. Name the meal, or let it go by what you said and when you said it.

The more you say, the closer the numbers: weights, sizes, brands and how it was cooked all help, and a label's numbers are used as given.

  • a latte and a croissant
  • chicken salad for lunch
  • 150 g of rice, a chicken breast and some broccoli
The chat's examples: what it does, with examples of each kind of message

Fix it in plain words

Tell it what's wrong and it changes, removes or adds entries in today's log. That means what the last reply logged. If a message would clear several things at once, it checks with you first.

  • make that lunch
  • it was 50 g, not 30 g
  • remove the toast

Every entry can be edited by hand too, and food can be added on a form when you'd rather not chat.

A daily target that fits you

Give it your age, size, how active you are and your goal, and it works out a daily calorie target, showing how it got there. Already have a number from a coach or a dietitian? Use that instead.

Add targets for protein, carbs, fiber and fat if you want them, starting from a suggestion, and a second set for the days you train.

Ask what to eat next

Tell it what you have in, and your cupboard keeps itself up to date: eating takes from it. Ask what should I have for dinner? and you get one option for your next meal, sized to what's left of it, with its numbers, built from your cupboard first.

Like it? One tap logs it as eaten.

A dinner suggestion: where the day stands, one option with its calories, protein, carbs, fat and fiber, and where its food comes from

Your day and your week

The Today panel sits beside the chat and updates with every message. The Food log shows a day at a time: the week as a strip of bars, the day's total against your target, each macro eaten, to go and its share of calories, and every meal with its entries.

It remembers your foods

Every food you log is remembered with your own numbers. The next time you mention it, the chat starts from those, so your oatmeal stays your bowl, not a fresh guess. Correct an entry and the correction is what's remembered.

  • Meals your way

Turn off the meals you don't eat, and give each one a share of your target if you like.

  • How you eat

Diet, allergies, foods you'd rather not have, cuisines you like and time to cook. Suggestions keep to them.

  • Training days

Mark a day as a training day and it's measured against your training targets.

  • Your language

Write in your own language; the chat's notes and suggestions come back in it.

  • Your AI assistant

Connect an assistant that speaks MCP with an agent key, and it can log food and read your day for you.

  • Help on every screen

The guide opens beside the screen you're on and follows you as you move.

Noshchat Stats

What does a day of eating add up to?

Noshchat Stats counts short what I eat in a day videos, food by food: the calories, the macros and a playful verdict on the food, never on the person. I present the statistics; Avo narrates the videos.

About

Counting food should take seconds.

Most food logs want a search and a form for every bite. Noshchat starts from the way you'd say it, and does the counting, the sums and the bookkeeping for you.

What we hold to

  • Numbers are estimates, and say so. Say more and they get closer; correct a food once and your numbers stick.
  • About the food, never the person. No body comments, no shaming: the numbers and a little fun.
  • You decide what's kept. When the chat hears an allergy or a diet, it offers to save it, and nothing is saved until you choose.
  • Not medical advice. Suggestions and their numbers are estimates, not medical or nutrition advice. With a condition or a diet to follow, talk to a doctor or a dietitian.

Questions

Good to know

Do I have to weigh my food?

No. A coffee works; it's just more of a guess than a 350 ml oat latte. Give weights, sizes or a label's numbers when you have them and the numbers get closer.

How accurate are the numbers?

They're estimates. The more you say, the closer they get, and a food you correct keeps your numbers from then on.

Is it nutrition advice?

No. Logged numbers and suggestions are estimates, not medical or nutrition advice, and using them is at your own risk. If you have a medical condition or a specific diet to follow, talk to a doctor or a dietitian.

Can I write in another language?

Yes. The line under each reply and the suggestions come back in the language you wrote in. The app's own words are in English.

Are carbs total or net?

Total, fiber included, the way most nutrition labels count them. Fiber is shown on its own too, and the Food log can add a row of net carbs.

Where's the full guide?

The Noshchat guide covers every screen, and it opens inside the app beside the screen you're on.

What did you have for breakfast?

Tell Noshchat, and let it keep the count.
